Educating children with learning disabilities presents unique challenges. Sara Baldwin tells the story of a group of parents who took matters into their own hands and created a different kind of school equipped to educate those with learning disabilities.
WFHB is proud to partner with the Indiana University School of Journalism for Community Journalism J460, a class taught in part here at WFHB where students learn to produce radio features on issues relevant to the local community. During the fall semester of 2010, students in J460 pursued stories in underreported areas like healthcare, education, criminal justice, and homelessness.
