Since the beginning of the recession, budget cuts have affected all levels and branches of government. Kenny Bruns reports on the local government’s attempt to modernize and improve Monroe County’s criminal justice system despite the harsh realities of the budget crisis.
WFHB is proud to partner with the Indiana University School of Journalism for Community Journalism J460, a class taught in part here at WFHB where students learn to produce radio features on issues relevant to the local community. During the fall semester of 2010, students in J460 pursued stories in underreported areas like healthcare, education, criminal justice, and homelessness.
