With budgets strained by the recession, Bloomington’s schools are looking for ways to cut costs. Bennett Fuson reports on one of these efforts, called Energy Educators, which is aimed at cutting energy costs across the Bloomington school system.
WFHB is proud to partner with the Indiana University School of Journalism for Community Journalism J460, a class taught in part here at WFHB where students learn to produce radio features on issues relevant to the local community. During the fall semester of 2010, students in J460 pursued stories in underreported areas like healthcare, education, criminal justice, and homelessness.
