Human Genome and Alzheimer’s


The human genome may be the best avenue to date in the battle against Alzheimer’s Disease. It is also the focus of the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative, an on-going study in its second phase. The Indiana University Neuroimaging Center is one of the partners in ADNI and the center’s director Dr. Andrew Saykin, Director of the Indiana University Neuroimaging Center, talked with WFHB Correspondent Jennifer Whitaker about the Initiative, new data, and exciting possibilities provided by both, for this Daily Local News feature exclusive.
