Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced a defense contractor will receive $1.9 million in tax credits and grants, to move to Greene County.

Holcomb, joined by Greene County officials, and executives from Integrity Defense Services, announced the contractor will move to eastern Green County, on Friday. Holcomb’s office said that move is projected to create 160 jobs, over the next four years.

Integrity Defense Services company officials said they plan to invest at least $1 million leasing and equipping a 40,000-square-foot campus in Greene County. The company was offered $1.8 million in tax credits and $100,000 in training grants by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, according to the Associated Press. Integrity may only collect those subsidies if it follows through with its hiring plans.

The Integrity Defense Services headquarters in eastern Greene County are located some five miles from Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane.
