Monroe County officials took feedback last night on a proposed Phase 2 of the Fullerton Pike project; In its meeting last night, the Bloomington Redevelopment Commission gave a green light to the fourth phase of a five phase plan to construct the Cascades Park Trail; The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market has received a donation from an anonymous donor of 30,000 dollars to continue the Double Market Bucks Program; Governor Mike Pence has asked the federal government for more money to fund Indiana’s pre-kindergarten program, which serves low-income families who can’t otherwise afford pre-school; The Indiana State Department of Health says syphilis cases have increased by 70 percent since 2014; A new study from the life-science business development group, BioCrossroads, points to a rising need to retain engineer and information technology graduates in Indiana.
