Debra Morrow, Middle Way House

Play

Scared and desperate, Debra Morrow walked through the front door of Middle Way House a decade and a half ago. Since that day, Morrow has created a new life for herself and her kids, earning a college degree, rising through the ranks at the domestic abuse resource center, and flowering as a whole human. Now she runs the entire operation. Morrow talks frankly about the life that drove her to seek help and how, with the help of many others, she’s grown and transformed. Her story stands as a model for the countless women who attempt to survive physical and emotional battering.

Host Michael Glab goes one-on-one with Bloomington’s most fascinating people every Thursday at 5:30pm. Tune in for a bonus feature, Big Talk Extra, every Monday on the Daily Local News at 5:00pm for added chat from the previous week’s show.
