The Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASAs, are volunteers who monitor and testify on behalf of children who are ‘wards of the state.’Over the past five years, the number of children in need of an advocate in Monroe County’s CASA program has quadrupled. WFHB News Director Wes Martin sat down with CASA volunteer Lester Wadzinski to discuss CASA’s work.
