Food Insecurity is down across the United States — but it’s up in Indiana; The Indiana Supreme Court deliberated yesterday about whether police departments operated by private universities should be held to the same open records requirements as other departments; Candidates for the Indiana General Assembly recently heard an earful about the growing challenges facing the caregiver industry for aging and disabled citizens.

FEATURE
Construction crews that have been building Section 5 of Interstate 69 are still out of work today. Financial problems and disputes involving the lead contractor, the Netherlands-based Isolux Corsan, have caused contractors to delay work on the project. Now, a governmental organization in Monroe County is looking into the possibility of removing funding for I-69 construction. WFHB News Director Joe Crawford has more on that story for today’s WFHB community report.
