Illinois-based plastics company, Phoenix Closures Incorporated is poised to take over the former Otis Elevator property on South Curry Pike in Bloomington. The City of Bloomington Utilities Department will be replacing the city’s water delivery pipes over several years. Monroe County businesses may be subjected to audits for personal property under a new contract adopted by County Commissioners.

Now, as the Land Trust is adding another employee, WFHB Correspondent Alex Davis speaks with Sycamore Land Trust Communications Director Abby Hankel, about the extent of the Trust’s work in conservation, and the challenges they face.
