We go live on location at the courthouse square in downtown Bloomington, where the Bloomington Peace Action Coalition has supersized its weekly peace vigil in a coordinated campaign with the campus group Indiana Students Against War, culminating in a Benefit for the People of Iraq tonight at the John Waldron Arts Center to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Iraq and to raise funds for Direct Aid Iraq, an organization providing aid to Iraqis impacted and displaced by sectarianism and military occupation. We follow our live feed with audio taped an hour before, at a feeder rally on campus organized by Indiana Students Against War. Phil Sinal is from South Bend and plans to join the military after graduation. He said he felt the anti-war protest on campus today was disrespectful to military personnel, and so he engaged ISAW organizers James Cooper and Edward Vasquez in what turned out to be a lively street debate and a WFHB exclusive. Also in this program:BLOOMINGTON BEWARE!If your mortgage is in trouble, think twice about so-called mortgage rescue companies.
