Earlier today a federal court granted Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky a preliminary injunction regarding Indiana’s new abortion law; Bloomington police are searching for witnesses and a suspect after an attempted abduction on the B-Line Trail; A program aimed at saving three endangered languages has taken a Bloomington-based nonprofit group to North Dakota this summer; Eleven dimly lit intersections across the city will get new street lights, thanks to a lease agreement with Duke Energy approved by the Board of Public Works; June is National Homeownership Month and in recognition the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, or HUD announced the release of over $40 million in house counseling grants to national, regional and local organizations.

Sarah Vaughan spoke with the project’s director Sally Gaskill about the long term influences of artistic study.
