Caveat Emptor, the book store that has held a spot on the Bloomington square for 45 years, is not closing after all; The Monroe County Tax Council is holding a work session tonight at 7pm at City Hall to set a process by which townships can apply for a portion of the new public safety tax; Members of the City’s Environmental Commission got a nudge from City Planner Nate Nickel last week to consider giving their input about the City’s Growth Policies Plan; The Indiana Arts Commission has approved grants to state and individual arts providers in Indiana for the Fiscal 2017 Year, and many Bloomington organizations are recipients.
