Monroe County lost out on federal grant money that would have funded road construction in the Westside Economic Development Area; In its meeting Tuesday night, the Monroe County Plan Commission gave its final approval for the Holland Fields housing development; The Indiana Supreme Court has begun developing a new registry that will list all Hoosiers convicted of child neglect and other offenses involving minors; Duke Energy reaches a settlement with Indiana utility regulators to increase rates with the stated goal of modernizing its power grid.
