Bloomington Democratic State Representative Matt Pierce files legislation for voluntary euthanasia; the Monroe County Commissioners are gearing up for the county’s 200th anniversary, saving taxpayer money with new property tax software, and approved new monitoring equipment for the Community Corrections Department; The Commission on the Status of Women is seeking applicants for their annual awards; and both the city of Bloomington and Monroe County proclaim January 4 as WFHB Day.
