On November 26th the WFHB Board of Directors named Cleveland Dietz permanent General Manager of WFHB; Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan announced today the appointment of Ivy Tech Community College Chancellor John Whikehart as Bloomington’s next Deputy Mayor; On November 27th, U.S. District Court Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson placed an injunction against a law regulating the physical facility of non-surgical abortion clinics in Indiana; Local activists are planning a public display of nonviolent, civil disobedience if the Obama administration recommends approval of the Keystone XL pipeline; Doris Sims has been appointed Director of the City of Bloomington’s Human Resources Department by Mayor Mark Kruzan, effective January 1st.
