Community Organizer Kate Hess Pace

Play

She cut her teeth working for a faith-based community advocacy organization in Minnesota and now she’s back in Bloomington, her home town. Hess Pace returned to her roots in 2017 to head up Hoosier Action. Serving as executive director of the citizen-empowerment group, Hess Pace hopes to rouse the troops in Monroe County and surrounding areas to call for economic justice. A community organizer, she says, is a born optimist.

Host Michael Glab goes one-on-one with Bloomington’s most fascinating people every Thursday at 5:30pm. Tune in for a bonus feature, Big Talk Extra, every Monday on the Daily Local News at 5:00pm for added chat from the previous week’s show.
