The City of Bloomington’s Commission on Aging invites all to attend the sixth annual Creative Aging Festival. The festival takes place every May, in honor of Older Americans Month. This year, the event will start Friday, May 6th at the Monroe County History Center. The Festival includes art exhibits, musical and theatre performances, poetry, gardening, and more. These events allow older artists to showcase their talents and skills, as well as increase intergenerational understanding and the importance of creative engagement. You can obtain a copy of the Creative Aging Festival program guide at www.bloomington.in.gov/coa.
