Join producer Ryne Shadday and anchor Colin Shassberger as they welcome Mauer School of Law Associate Professor, Steve Sanders. He teaches Constitutional Law, Family Law, and Constitutional Litigation, and his scholarship focuses on questions arising out of the Fourteenth Amendment’s guarantees of equal protection and due process, with a special focus on issues affecting LGBT persons and same-sex couples.

Before coming to IU, Steve practiced for four years with the Supreme Court and appellate litigation group at Mayer Brown LLP in Chicago, where he became the firm’s most-junior attorney to present a U.S. Supreme Court argument in a paid client matter. Steve writes regularly for The Huffington Post, the American Constitution Society Blog, and SCOTUSBlog.

The music selection includes “What You’re Looking For” by John Errol, “Hot Water” by BAUM and “Jump” by Nakaya.
