Join anchors JP and Sarah as they interview Elbe Lieb and Kris Roehling, facilitators for the group QueerTalk. QueerTalk is a space that is for discussing and learning about issues that affect both individual members of the queer community, but also for the community as a whole. The group is a collective forum for members of the LGBTQ queer and ally community to talk about issues that affect intersectional identities, such as racism, violence, and oppression. QueerTalk is sponsored by Middle Way House. The group meets regularly at 6pm on Wednesdays at the Monroe County Public Library in room 1C.

Tonight’s featured music comes from Haley Kiyoko, Tom Goss, and Betty Who. In response to the recent election of Donald Trump as the 45 President of the United States, bloomingOUT volunteer, Kathryn de la Rosa, has compiled a news segment talking about the future of queer America under Donald Trump and his notoriously anti-LGBT running mate and former Indiana governor, Mike Pence.
