Suavamente: A Benefit for Puerto Rico
Come to the Backdoor on Friday, January 12th starting at 10 PM for a LantiX Variety Show to benefit the victims of Hurricane Maria. The event will include several performers like JJ Suede and Lola Lavacious. Donations are suggested. More information on the Backdoor’s website.
2018 Bloomington Pride Film Festival
Exploring the lives and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community through feature-length and short films and live performances that advocate community-wide attitudes of awareness, acceptance and appreciation of diversity. This event will be held from Thursday, January 25th to Saturday, the 27th at the Buskirk Chumley Theatre. Check the Bloomington Pride Film Fesitval’s website for more information.
Unity Center Work Days
Spencer Pride will be hosting a “Work Day” for their new Unity Center on Monday, January 15th for 10 AM to 4 PM. Work days are also held every Wednesday and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
