Agricultural Economics and Immigration Reform


There is bipartisan agreement that the united states immigration policy is in need of reform – but just what that means is up for strong debate. While the United States house of representatives works to address various aspects of immigration individually, sectors of government agencies, business groups, and social services agencies have increasingly joined in support of comprehensive immigration reform. Just this week the United States department of agriculture announced full support of a senate bill that numbers show would increase the agriculture economy nationwide. WFHB News Director Alycin Bektesh looked at how those numbers effect Indiana, for today’s WFHB feature exclusive.
