SB371 imposing increased sanctions on health clinics that provide abortion services passed this Indiana State Senate yesterday. Despite the national backlash brought on similar bills from other states, the bill proposing that women must receive a trans-vaginal ultrasound and return for a follow up visit when seeking a non-surgical abortion, the bill passed with a resounding 33-16 vote.
