Brown County Day on WFHB

This Friday afternoon from 1 to 4, you’re invited to join the Brown County Hour crew at Pine Roon/Muddy Boots in Nashville for our Fall Fund Drive’s ‘Brown County Day’ – with live music broadcasting over WFHB at the top of every hour from Chris Dollar, Jason Barker, and Steve Plessinger, plus an all-star jam. You can pledge your support for WFHB and meet the Brown County Hour crew at Pine Room/Muddy Boots on ‘Brown County Day’.

Performing at 1 PM is Chris Dollar. Chris was a founding member of the New Old Cavalry out of Bloomington, a vital part of the “acoustic” scene in Monroe County. Since the NOC has disbanded, Chris has led a very successful solo project and is now a full time member of the Flatland Harmony Experiment.

Performing at 2 PM is Jason Barker. Jason Barker’s style ranges from classical to acoustic finger style to blues. He started playing at eight years old with friends and a few bands until then studied classical guitar at IU Bloomington at eighteen.

Performing at 3 PM is is Steve Plessinger. Steve is a singer-songwriter and frontman for the Bloomington, IN-based band, The Warm Bloods. His voice changes from song to song, blending blues, Americana, and rock.
