Bloomington-area folks, feeling helpless and distraught about gun violence (aka mass murder) in our schools? Feel like you need to do more than share FB memes condemning these actions and the people who enable them? I’m currently working with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America to organize a meeting for those of us interested in turning “thoughts and prayers” into “organization and action”! Even if you’ve never considered yourself an activist before, or don’t think you have much to offer…step out of your comfort zone and join us! The MDAGS reps will provide concrete actions that we can take to help the movement!
Note: This is not just for Moms! Moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers, and concerned citizens… ALL are welcome!!
