A Guide to Natural Areas of Southern Indiana

An Earth Day Book Signing/Conversation with author Steven Higgs and local writers Mike Leonard and James Alexander Thom

On Saturday April 22^nd at 6pm, in celebration of Earth Day, The Venue is pleased to host an interview and book signing for A guide to Natural Areas of Southern Indiana: 119 Unique Places to Explore, from writer/photographer Steven Higgs, with a forward from James Alexander Thom. Local author and commentator Mike Leonard will lead an interview of both Higgs and Thom about the approach to the crafting this book as well as the inspiration that Indiana holds in the realm of natural beauty.

Accompanying this presentation will be an 8 minute video produced by Higgs entitled Intimate Sycamore Landscapes, as well as an exhibition of nature photography from local artists Gary Morrison.
