Bloomington Honors Toby Strout With S. Washington Dedication

A section of South Washington Street in Bloomington will now bear the name of long-time Middle Way House Executive Director Toby Strout. Strout worked at Middle Way House, which provides services for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking and human trafficking, for 30 years. Eli Lilly Announces Reduced Prices for Insulin Medication

The announcement by the 143 year-old Indianapolis-based Fortune 500 company comes amid growing public outcry over prescription drug pricing. Prescribed Burns Planned for Yellowwood, Morgan-Monroe

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is carrying out prescribed burns in Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood State Forest, over the next month. Resource Specialist Mike Spaulding said three locations will be burned, totaling over 600, acres in Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Another 430-acres will be burned in Yellowwood State Forest. City Council Approves Tax Break for Catalent

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bloomington is expecting a $100 million expansion. The international bio-logics firm made the announcement, today. Catalent bought out locally-owned Cook Pharma, in October, 2017. The company announced the expansion at its facility in Bloomington should be completed by 2021.
