On January 6, the League of Women Voters of Bloomington-Monroe County gathered with five local representatives for an update on legislative action. Legislators in attendance were District 60 Rep. Peggy Mayfield, R-Martinsville; District 62 Rep. Jeff Ellington, R-Bloomington; District 61 Rep. Matt Pierce, D-Bloomington; District 46 Rep. Bob Heaton, R-Terre Haute; and District 40 state Sen. Mark Stoops, D-Bloomington.
